Self-drive expedition of 11 days and 10 nights from 3rd to 13th August

Day 1, 7th September

Arrival at Royal Sarovar, Siliguri  introduction to the team and other participants, getting familiar with radio operation and convoy driving

Day 2, 8th September

Leave from Siliguri, drive 150 kms to Phuentsholing in Bhutan, check into the luxurious Ga Me Ga  hotel

Day 3, 9th September

Leave from Phuentsholing, drive 154 kms to reach Paro, check into Le Meridien for the night

Day 4, 10th September

 Leave from Thimpu, drive 73kms to reach Punakha, we stay in Zhimkhan resort for the night

Day 5, 11th September

Leave from Jispa, drive 70kms on the Manali-Leh highway to reach Sarchu located at 14,389ft, there is a campsite located right next to the highway, we stay in tented accommodation for the night

Day 6, 12th September

 Leave from Thimpu, drive 73kms to reach Punakha, we stay in Zhimkhan resort for the night

Day 7, 13th September

Drive 160km from Bhumtang to Mongar, stay at Wangchuk Hotel

Day 8, 14th September

Drive 72kms from Mongar to Trashigang,  stay at Druk Deothjang

Day 9, 15th September

Drive 270km from Trashigang to Guwahati, check into Radission Blu

One-time package cost includes:

  • Luxury hotel/tent accommodation on daily basis
  • Accommodation in standard room on double occupancy basis
  • Daily breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • One lead vehicle and one tail-end vehicle

  • Any expenses due to unforeseen circumstances like vehicle breakdown or accident
  • Additional accommodation expenses owing to unforeseen circumstances like natural calamities
  • Any charges for vehicle repair or damage
